What we collect

We collect two narrow categories of information:

1. Anonymous usage analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics product built by our hosting provider. It:

• Does not use cookies and does not require a consent banner
• Does not track you across other websites
• Does not build an advertising profile or sell data to anyone
• Does not retain your IP address; it is used transiently to derive coarse location and to count a visit, then discarded

What it collects: page views, referrer (where visitors arrived from), coarse location, and browser and device type, aggregated across all visitors. We use it only to see which calculators people find useful and where the site is slow or broken. 2. Information you voluntarily provide

If you fill out our contact form or email us, we collect:

• Your name (whatever you enter)
• Your email address
• The contents of your message

We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry. We don't add you to any mailing list, and we never sell it or pass it to advertisers or affiliate partners.

To be precise about how a message reaches us: our contact form is handled by Web3Forms, a third-party form processor. When you press send, your name, email address, and message are transmitted to Web3Forms, which delivers them to our inbox. That means one company besides us handles your message in transit, and their retention practices are theirs, not ours. If you would rather not involve a third party, email us directly at hello@geauxtomarket.com instead.

On our side, we keep your message only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry, and delete it after that unless retention is required for legitimate business or legal reasons.

What we don't collect

To be specific about what we're NOT doing:

• We don't collect Social Security numbers, banking information, or credit details.
• We don't store the numbers you input into our calculators. They exist only in your browser session.
• We don't use tracking pixels from Facebook, Google, or other advertising networks.
• We don't set advertising cookies.
• We don't fingerprint your device.
• We don't sell your data. Full stop.

About affiliate links

There are currently no affiliate links on this site. We are not in any affiliate network, and no third party is tracking clicks from these pages, because there is nothing to track. Our disclosure page covers how this site is funded in full.

If we add affiliate links later, this section will name the actual networks and link to their privacy policies before any link goes live. What you should know in advance: those networks typically set a cookie recording that you arrived from here, so they can credit us if you complete an action. Such cookies do not identify you personally. And once you land on a partner's site, their privacy policy governs, not ours.

Cookies and similar technologies

We set no first-party cookies at all. Our calculators keep your inputs in your browser's memory for the length of the visit and nothing is written to disk, which is why refreshing the page clears them. Our analytics provider is cookieless. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

You can disable cookies entirely in your browser settings and every calculator here will still work, because none of them depend on cookies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information including:

• The right to know what information we have collected about you
• The right to request deletion of your information
• The right to opt out of any data sharing (though we don't share data anyway)

Because we collect so little to begin with, exercising these rights is usually straightforward, just email us at hello@geauxtomarket.com and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Children's privacy

Geaux To Market is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

As our site grows, this policy may evolve. We'll update the "last updated" date below when we make material changes. For significant changes, we may add a notice on the homepage. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
